Mask Expeditions

Welcome to Mask Expeditions! We are a team of dedicated travel experts operating small group adventure tours throughout Southern Africa. Mask specialises in walking, trekking, cycling and adventure wildlife safaris.

Mask Expeditions is a fully licensed South African tour operator and a member of Southern African Tourism Services Association SATSA (#1364). All our guides are licensed and have public driving permits. Each vehicle is custom built to comply with the current South African public transport law and have individual safety belts and are insured to comply with SATSA guidelines.

On all safaris Mask Expeditions ensures that each group or client, is in possession of entrance permits for walking and cycling. We have exclusive permission to walk and cycle in certain private concession areas and reserves. This provides each client with a unique and memorable experience.

Our responsible tourism policy is applied through various initiatives including using regional guides wherever possible, negotiating with local communities for access to tribal lands and minimizing our environmental impact while on safaris through use of renewable resources and sustainable community development.We look forward to welcoming you to Africa.
